About the program

The YouthConnekt Africa Export Accelerator is a new signature program of the YouthConnekt which builds on the recent breakthrough in policy with the African continent with the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA).  The AfCFTA brings together 54 African countries, merging them into a single market 1.3 Billion people and is expected to create an economic bloc with a combined GDP of $3.4 trillion. 

The YouthConnekt Export Accelerator will run it’s Pilot Cohort in 2021- 2022.

The Export Accelerator will identify 22 Youth and Women owned enterprises that ready to export and demonstrate great potential for growth. The program will draw from the YouthConnekt Africa diverse pool of networks to deliver an exciting and empowering 7 months program which will accelerate the participation of these Youth owned entreprises to launch new growth through export in other African markets.

The Export Accelerator will focus on addressing access to new markets, access to growth financing and accelerated growth and strengthening of company operations, production efficiency and go to market strategies.
