Assistant Management Accountant

A Degree in Accounting or similar.
A full professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CIMA or similar is essential.
At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
Good communication and presentation skills and ability to relate well at all levels.
Ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate, quality work.
Excellent computer skills and brilliant experience in Excel must be a given.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Group Management Accountant in managing the Group’s financial strategy.
Prepare the Group’s budget parameters and common information and provide direction to subsidiaries in line with the Group’s financial strategy.
Prepare financial budgets and budget framework for circulation to subsidiaries.
Prepare detailed budgets including capital expenditure for the Holding company and the supporting key analysis to support the budgets.
Assist in developing management control systems for financial performance measurement.
Monitor and assist in quarterly reviews and revision of budgets.
Analyze budget figures against actual financial performance.
Come up with recommendations to address performance variances.
Assist the Group Management Accountant in developing and managing cost reduction strategies.
Assist superior in analyzing revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and expenditure controls.
Assist in developing and maintaining an effective investment strategy for the Holding company’s investment portfolio.
Prepare various optimal asset mix for the Group based on budgeted and/or forecasted risk and return profiles.

Assistant Financial Accountant

A Degree in Accounting or similar.
A full professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CIMA or similar is essential.
At least 3 years’ experience working preferably in a similar role.
Good communication and presentation skills and ability to relate well at all levels.
Ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate, quality work.
Excellent computer skills and brilliant experience in Excel must be a given.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Group Financial Accountant in designing financial reporting packs for quarterly, half yearly and annual reporting periods in line with IFRS and guidance given by various accounting bodies (PAAB, ICAZ, ACCA etc.).
Assist in the preparation of statutory financial results (Half year, quarterly and annual) for the Group and the Holding company.
Assist the Group Financial Accountant in preparing the Group’s press release for external publication.
Assist in ensuring that financial reporting matters of the holding company are in compliance with IFRS and other regulatory bodies.
Assist the Group Financial Accountant in leading formal IFRS presentations to subsidiaries.
Prepare monthly financial accounting analysis reports for the holding company.
Prepare monthly reconciliations and exceptional reports for the holding company.
Prepare and handles day-to-day financial accounting matters for CBZ Holdings.
Track transactions posted in the Holding company cashbook for integrity and cleanliness.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash flow movement reports.
Maintain and monitor intercompany transactions and balances and ensures that all outstanding balances are cleared on time.

Group Management Accountant

A Degree in Accounting or similar.
A full professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CIMA or similar is essential.
At least 5 years’ experience working preferably in a similar role.
Good communication and presentation skills and ability to relate well at all levels.
Ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate, quality work.
Excellent computer skills and brilliant experience in Excel must be a given.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Group Finance Manager in implementing and managing the Group’s financial strategy.
Prepare financial budgets and budget framework pack for circulation to subsidiaries.
Assist superior in tracking and managing the annual budgeting process and providing guidance on templates to subsidiaries.
Prepare detailed consolidated budgets including CAPEX for the Group and the supporting key analysis.
Develop management control systems for financial performance measurement.
Attend to internal and external Group management accounting requests and queries.
Initiate and assist superior in managing periodic Group budget reviews in line with economic developments or other significant strategic or operational variations to the original budget.
Review and ensure that operational KPIs to measure the efficiency and accuracy of output produced by the team is in place.
Monitor and ensure the Group derive value from the transfer pricing system.
Review and implement effective solutions to identified weaknesses on the current transfer pricing transactions.
Review and update the transfer pricing policy in line with ZIMRA requirements.
