Apply for the GirlCodeZA May 2022 Intake Opportunity for Scholarship: 3-month Online Bootcamp with job placements. The May 2022 initiative is suitable for female graduates in IT including those who are Persons Living with Disabilities.

GirlCode South Africa is super excited to be opening 400 Scholarship applications for the Online Bootcamp.

So, how does one apply to be part of this life changing program? You have to be:

  • Female
  • Aged 18-34
  • IT Graduate
  • Unemployed
  • Able to commit to the full duration of the program
  • Have access to computer/laptop
  • Have internet access

There are two streams you can choose from:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Python Developer

During the program, you will receive market-relevant skills, mentorship sessions with industry-specific individuals. This program is worthwhile if you want to launch a successful career in IT or STEM.

GirlCode takes pride in those students who have found/received full-time employment after completing the program. Not only does it train the learners, but they also offer mentorship and soft skills development sessions and partner with some of South Africa’s tech giants to place scholars for full-time employment after completion of the program.
