GIBELA TVET BURSARY FOR YOUNG SOUTH AFRICANS

Apply for the Gibela TVET Bursary for young South Africans

DEADLINE: 15 January 2023

TVET institution application prerequisite:

A South African citizen with a South African bar-coded Identity Document, enrolled or intending to enroll at a South African Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution, in need of financial assistance and able to demonstrate the potential for academic success.

Applicants must have matric-level four in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English. Gibela also requires written proof of acceptance for admission from a South African TVET institution.

Types of disciplines we fund for TVET students:

  • Boiler-makers
  • Electricians
  • Mechanics
  • Fitters and turners
  • Millwright
  • Welders
  • Pattern-makers
  • Vehicle builders
  • Plumbers
  • Control and instrumentation technicians

Funding is granted for one year and renewable on an annual basis based on academic performance.
