About the position (humanitarian specialist)

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Legacies & Humanitarian Specialist who will work with fundraising teams all around the world to co-create ambitious fundraising goals and implement strategies for growth. This will include delivering in partnership with affiliates a strong growth strategy for Legacy & Humanitarian Public Fundraising.

Who we’re looking for

You will have strong self-awareness and be skilled at building relationships with diverse stakeholders and exercising strategic thinking and judgement. 

You will have excellent communication and influencing skills and able to demonstrate strong project management skills. 

You will have significant experience and be a recognized expert in individual giving with direct experience of working on legacies and/or humanitarian fundraising. 

You will have proven success in delivering successful public fundraising strategies with demonstrated financial results. You will be able to demonstrate your track record working in an advisory role with a diverse range of senior leaders and markets. 

Lastly you will have proven project management skills delivering complex projects on time and on budget with a strong knowledge of all the financial aspects of legacy and humanitarian fundraising including analysis of costs/income, ROI, conversion and attrition data and all other relevant KPIs.
