Hlunga Group is recruiting for an Intern-Finance x1

LOCATION: Durban North, KZN

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Not totally exclusive)

Reporting to the Finance Manager & Group CEO, the Intern-Finance will be responsible for assisting the Finance team with various generalist finance related duties

• Learn the duties and responsibilities of the Finance office as detailed in the process flow
• Prepare quotations for clients who want to utilise the company’s services.
• Responsible for compiling the daily log, weekly and monthly report
• Follow up on invoices from the Company’s suppliers and submit for payment
• Responsible for uploading relevant  documents  onto the Accounts Payable – assist in capturing transactions on the accounting system
• Assist in creating expense requisition and ensure that they are properly / correctly approved and then submit for processing
• Create invoices and allocate payments as and when received from client.
• Assist in the preparation of processing payments on the banking system and the bank reconciliations
• Participate in the new vendor creation process
• Collate completed supplier accreditation forms with supporting documentation as required by the business
• Assist in ensuring that the cash expenditure  and credit card expenditure is accurately and timeously captured  across the business
• Responsible for record management of documents throughout the record life-cycle from the compiling of the record to the eventual disposal of the record.
• Assist in different departments in any administrative work according to the  applicable process flow/ Standard Operating Procedure as and when required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting
• Must be proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level on all packages with a typing speed of 60 words per minute
