INTERN POSITION– OPERATIONS MANAGEMENTx1

Reporting to the Group CEO, the intern: Operations Management will be responsible for assisting with administrative duties supporting the Group CEO in various projects that are aimed at improving the business’ efficiency.

  • Responsible for compiling the daily log, weekly and monthly report
  • Responsible for completing clerical and administrative duties in the Marketing office
  • Assist in projects that are aimed at improving the company’s efficiency whilst preserving company resources
  • Responsible for working on  assigned projects, analysing data and the provide creative solutions to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate and engage with a number of departments across the business – Finance, HR, Corporate and Psycho-Legal learning their inner workings and provide insight on areas of improvement
  • Draft and propose corrective action plans, processes and procedures submitting these to senior management
  • Provide administrative support including file management in the Administration office
  • Assist various departments with any administrative work according to the  applicable process flow/ Standard Operating Procedure as and when required

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management/ Business Administration
  • Must be proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level on all packages
  • Must have a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute

A valid driver’s license will be highly advantageous

INTERN POSITION – HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENTx1

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the intern: Human Resources Management will be responsible assisting with administrative duties supporting the HR office and ensuring the efficient, smooth running of all HR related processes.

  • Responsible for carrying out duties/ tasks as per the Internship programme according to the company’s process flow for the task assigned to them
  • Responsible for compiling the daily log, weekly and monthly report
  • Responsible for completing clerical and administrative duties in the Human Resources office, providing assistance in its day to day operations
  • Assist in the payroll preparation i.e. ensure that time sheets completed correctly and timeously submitted to the payroll office for processing
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, screen CVs and arrange interviews and any applicable psychometric assessments
  • Responsible for updating employee records including new recruits whilst maintaining confidentiality
  • Responsible for arranging the orientation programme at agreed to intervals
  • Responsible for updating & maintaining the training and development schedule
  • Assist in reviewing and updating the HR policies
  • Responsible for distributing the company notices on the digital platform I.e on the portal
  • Ensure that all the applicable Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to
  • Assist in the administrative work in different departments according to the  applicable process flow/ Standard Operating Procedure as and when required

  • Must be proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level on all packages

INTERN POSITION – MARKETING x1

Reporting to the Group CEO, the Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the Business Development office with various generalist marketing duties

  • Responsible for compiling the daily log, weekly and monthly report
  • Responsible for completing clerical and administrative duties in the Marketing office
  • Monitor and manage the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
  • Recommend changes to the company website and implement those changes
  • Develop social media campaigns and prepare marketing proposals
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and the knowledge of customer needs
  • Engage in business development activities such as cold calling for business and ensuring that Hlunga Group is registered as a supplier in the vendor data base of potential customers
  • Responsible for measuring consumer satisfaction with the company’s services and or product offerings
  • Assist various departments with any administrative work according to the  applicable process flow/ Standard Operating Procedure as and when required

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management
  • Must be proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level on all packages
  • Must have a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
  • A valid driver’s license will be highly advantageous
