ROBBEN ISLAND MUSEUM (RIM) GRADUATE PROGRAMME FOR UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES

Apply for the Robben Island (RIM) Museum Graduate Programme for unemployed graduates. The Graduate Programme is a two-year programme aimed towards attaining skills and experience from the workplace.

Robben Island Museum (RIM) Graduate Programme

The Robben Island Museum (RIM) Graduate programme is structured work-based internship development programme focused on taking graduates from various Universities and University of Technologies through a structured work plan in order to expand their work experience.

Successful candidates will enter into two years internship contract. The Graduates will enter into a contract with RIM and be placed within the relevant departments within the museum for the duration of the internship.

This programme offers opportunities to graduates that have qualified in the following disciplines.

  • Communication Public Relations x 1
  • Internal Control, Risk Management x 1
  • Supply Chain Management, Business Administration/Management, Logistics, Purchasing Management x 1
  • Finance x 1
  • Research, Office Management x 2
  • Conservation, Environment x 1
  • Exhibitions, Audio Visual x 1
  • Archives, Library Science x 1
  • Education, Heritage x 2
  • Human Resources, Industrial Psychology x 2
  • Paramedics x 2
  • Marketing x 1
  • Customer Service; Information x 2
  • IT x 1
  • Infrastructure and Facilities Management x 1
  • Office Management x 1

Applicants must be unemployed graduates willing and available for 24 months post-graduation workplace experience at RIM. RIM is an EE & AA employer. RIM reserves the right not to make an appointment if suitable candidates are not found.
