Short Description / Purpose of Job

Provide support to Marketing and Sales, M&S Services, Outbound supply chain and operations to ensure the order to cash process operates in an efficient and optimized manner.

To track the life cycle of a delivery from end to end as part of improving the customer experience .Ensure information provided by the Third Party Logistics (3PL) is accurate and precise.

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

Work with all value chain stakeholders at a delivery level.
Continuous updates to Customer Service Representative (CSR) as well as Distribution Requirement Planner (DRP) of track and tracing of orders
Immediate response to deviations
Draw open deliveries reports daily and follow up with CSR and Third Party Logistics (3PL) on any outstanding deliveries
Ensure timeous and accurate execution of daily transport schedules (Execution reports) to meet customer demands
Relay schedule challenges and any potential deviations from plans to the Logistics Commnand Center (LCC) coordinator
Analyse tracking and execution reports daily and take necessary action
Ensure daily despatches carried out by the warehouse correlates with SAP
Draw SAP report monthly and liaise with Finance, 3PL and the Plant on Post Goods Issues (PGIs) done in the incorrect period. Input to SOX test
Assist in the monitoring of delivery interfaces from SAP to Oricle Transport Module (OTM) and vice versa to ensure that messages are transmitted successfully
Ensure on time in full delivery of all customer orders.
Provide input into slot bookings for deliveries loading out of Sasolburg and Secunda sites
Be solution driven
Report on trends and make recommendations for improving negative trends
Analyse and check if the selection matrix is used correctly by the 3PL
Highlight any performance gaps or any bad practices and bring it to the LCC coordinators attention
Inform all stakeholders and 3PL of any congestions at the plants
Assist in analysing customer complaints to see any trend and patterns for corrective measures
Ensure date management is rigorously applied and orders are captured within the prescribed lead times

B Degree or equivalent
