The Oil and Gas Industries | Youth Empowerment Program YEP was founded in 2008 on the principle that every youth in Africa and Overseas must be able to have access to provisional skills training and employment to thrive in the global economy.

• YEP is a mindset changing program that has changed good number of youths in Africa and the world at large.
• This project has helped in controlling the global economical crises by engaging idle youths to meaningful jobs.
• The YEP SA project is intended for South African youths who have little or no education with verifiable South African identity number,and must be 18-35 years of age.
• This program has created an avenue for poverty reduction by creating opportunities for young and growing minds in africa and around the world
• Beneficiaries of the Oil and Gas Industries |Youth Empowerment Program YEP will be entitled to an inclusive monthly stipend of R11,228
• The project is co-funded by the Oil and Gas Industries inc. , with oems; The Petroleum Oil and Gas Corporation of South Africa (PetroSA), Sasol Limited ,Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC),Chevron Coporation , Efora Energy Limited, Africa Oil Corp, Petrobras Oil, Total Global ,The South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA),KCA Deutag, Oando Plc, and Exxonmobil Corporation as major sponsors.
