Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Environmental Scientist Bursaries -2024

AECOM SA (Pty) Ltd is offering bursaries to South African students that are pursuing a career and/or currently studying Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying on a full-time basis at a South African Tertiary Institution.

Applications will be considered from students, who comply with the entrance requirements for the above-mentioned fields of study, who intend to enroll for full-time studies and excel in their current field of study in line with the guidelines.

Open To All Aspiring

Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers (including Rail Engineers), Quantity Surveyors and Environmental Scientists.

  • What Does The Bursary Cover?

    Tuition Fees, Books, Accommodation all up to a maximum of R100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Rand) per annum.
  • A laptop up to the value of R8,000.00 (Eight Thousand Rand) once off.

Will The Bursary Be Available Throughout My Studies?

The tenure of the bursary is subject to the approved bursar consistently achieving good academic results. Should a bursary holder’s academic results fall below an average of 65%, the continuation of the bursary may be reviewed.

  • How do I apply?

    Complete your application electronically by clicking on the “Apply To Job” button below before by no later than 15 January 2024 and complete the Bursary form.
  • The approved bursary holder will be required to work at AECOM post their qualification for every year AECOM contributed to the studies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Successfully passed grade 12 (matric) or currently maintaining above 65% at a tertiary level
  • Must be a South Africa citizen.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Passion and commitment to pursue a career in the built environment.
  • No work experience is required.
  • Preferred average mark of 70% in Mathematics and Science
  • Preferred average mark of 65% in your most recent year at tertiary level.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Registered at a valid Tertiary Institution
