x2 GIZ Internship Opportunities in Lusaka and Dakar

a) INTERN- Elective station in the legal clerkship (DAKAR)

The project “Support for Labor Law and Employment Administration” aims to improve the labor law and institutional framework for companies and thus contribute to the creation of decent employment. To this end, it advises the Senegalese Ministry of Labor on strategy and organizational development and promotes process optimization within the 16 labor inspectorates. At the same time, training and advanced training for labor inspection staff and access to labor courts are being promoted. A field of action that is currently being set up will be dedicated to extending social security protection to the informal sector and advising the Ministry of Labor on a corresponding strategy.

b) INTERN- “Promotion of Transparency, Participation, and Access to Law” in Zambia (Lusaka)

Field of activity

The “Promotion of Transparency, Participation and Access to Justice” project works in Zambia in the areas of strengthening civil society participation and dialogue, access to justice and combating corruption. In all fields of activity, the project supports both civil society organizations and state institutions and promotes the implementation of reform processes. In addition, a diverse landscape of actors improves access to justice for poor and marginalized population groups. This is also achieved using digital approaches.

Your tasks

As part of your internship, you will have the following tasks, among others:

Research activities on the technical topics of the program and preparation of data and information, also for monitoring and reporting
Support in the organization of events, planning workshops, internal team processes, etc.
Support in the creation of communication materials (Power Point presentations, social media posts, etc.)
Supporting the consultants in preparing and conducting training courses and workshops for and with Zambian partner organizations.
Support in the conceptualization of digitization approaches in various work streams of the project
