South African Reserve Bank Art Scholarship 2023

The South African Reserve Bank is offering an annual Full Art Scholarship to a qualifying Fine Arts student for the 2023 academic year.
If you will be registered for one of the following degrees or diplomas in the 2023 academic year,
you would qualify for the scholarship:

  • Final year of a four-year undergraduate degree in Fine Arts
  • Honours degree in Fine Arts (following a three-year undergraduate degree in Fine Arts)
  • Master’s degree in Fine Arts
  • One-year Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts (following a three-year undergraduate diploma in Fine Arts)

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements, failing which the applications may stand canceled.

  • You must be a living citizen of South Africa.
  • You must plan to study or enroll to study in one of the aforementioned programs in an accredited tertiary South African college.

How to Apply?

  • To apply for the SARB Art Scholarship 2023, the applicants need to download and fill out the Full Art Scholarship Application Form. (MS Word)
  • The candidates must submit clear copies of the following documents via Email in pdf format to [email protected],
  • Please note that this form is the only source to apply for the scholarship.

The candidates must submit clear copies of the following documents in a pdf to [email protected], to apply for the scholarship programme, failing which their applications may get revoked:

  1. Completed application form
  2. Images of 6 to 8 artworks produced in 2022
  3. 2022 academic transcript
  4. Copy of identity document
