Requirements :
- A bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: • Public Administration/Management or Governance • Economics/Development Studies • Political Science • Social Science Studying towards or completed honours degree will be an advantage.
Duties :
- • Observe and participate in the analysis departmental reports • Observe and participate in the conducting of field work and independent verification • Observe and provide support/assistance to researchers on the implementation of SOM imperatives • Observe and participate in conducting proactive fieldwork • Observe and participate in any other research projects. • Observe and participate in the writing of proactive research papers and Policy Brief articles • Observe and participate in developing stakeholder database. • Observe and participate in maintenance Stakeholder database. • Observe and participate in the preparation of individual reports (Monthly and Quarterly reports). • Attend to any other relevant and reasonable tasks within the research unit as may be required from time to time.
Notes :
- • Applicants must be South African citizens. • Applicant must be between the age of 18-35. • To align with employment equity targets and ensure that diversity is maintained at the GPL, preference will be given to Coloured, White and Indian applicants. • Must have no previous criminal convictions or pending cases. • It remains the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). • Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates
