Gauteng Department of Cooperative Governance External Bursary Advertisement for the 2024 Academic Year

The Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) through the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) seeks to fund students studying or intend pursuing an undergraduate/ post-graduate/ masters full programme in Disaster Risk Management, Disaster Risk Studies or Fire Services Technology qualification (excluding Certificate courses and Ph.D. qualifications) at a recognised Public Higher Institution of South Africa and hereby invites applications for the 2024 academic year.

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizens;
• Have been accepted/ registered/ applied for an undergraduate/ post-graduate/ masters full programme in Disaster Risk Management, Disaster Risk Studies or Fire Services Technology qualification at a recognised Public Higher Institution of South Africa; and
• Applications for Certificate courses or Ph.D. qualifications will NOT be considered for this funding.
