About the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development

The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development implements the GPG’s capital expenditure budget allocation and other infrastructure projects that utilises sole or joint GPG financial investments, and to maximise the social and economic benefits of GPG’s property portfolio. It also implements the policies of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment and preferential procurement in line with the approved targets, and is the implementing agent for all GPG department infrastructure developments.

Internship Conditions

Applications must be accompanied by the new Z83 Form with the relevant refence number (please refer to the Table above & swipe/move to the left to see the Ref Number), Comprehensive Curriculum CV, as well as Certified copies of Qualifications not older than 06 months, academic records and identity document.

Candidates must be unemployed in possession of an appropriate post school qualification and have not previously participated in an internship programme. Correspondence will be limited to successful candidates only and applications after the closing date will not be accepted/considered. Appointments will be made in accordance with the Department’s Employment Equity Policy. Only South African Citizens from Gauteng Province will be considered. The Department encourages unemployed youth between the ages of 18-35 and people with disability to apply. (The Z83 Form can be obtained from any Public Service department or download it HERE which must be fully completed as per the instructions on the form, signed and dated.)
