Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a General Handyman to join the Facilities & Maintenance team at our Head Office in Germiston. This position is on a contract basis for 3 months. The preferred candidate should have at least 1 year experience of General Maintenance with Grade 12.
QUALIFICATION:
- Matric / Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 Year General Maintenance
JOB SPECIFICATION:
- Identifies any problems with regards to basic maintenance
- Reports any maintenance issues to manager immediately (e.g. blocked drains, toilets not flushing, broken tiles, etc.)
- Performs basic electrical tasks e.g. changing of light bulb
- Basic structural upkeep e.g. filling & painting of cracks
- Performs basic carpenter functions e.g. door repairs, cabinet repairs
- Assists tradespeople with tasks
