Key Performance Areas

To prepare and examine financial records of the company. Make sure that records are accurate, that budget is submitted to line manager on time and that all statutory returns are submitted and paid on time. Perform day end procedure daily to ensure update of the General Ledger affecting the following modules: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll (monthly), Fixed assets, Cashbook, Import journals in ledger, etc. Collecting budgets from all departments for consolidation. Filing documents on a weekly basis. Prepare budget variance reports on a weekly /monthly basis. Perform statutory reporting on SARS E -filing.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Finance or Equivalent.
• B. Com degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting will be advantageous.
• 5 years relevant experience in accounting functions.
• No managerial experience required.
