Junior Financial Analyst Post at Talksure Group

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide the Company Management with accurate, complete and value-adding financial reporting, financial analysis and management insight relating to the financial status of campaigns administered & sold by the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting Key financial analysis and metrics
Financial modelling for business cases
Variance analysis
Data Analysis
Lapse, Churn and Persistency Analysis
Preparing Budgets and assisting with year-end audits
Responsible for the submission and analysis of each bill run
Preparation of Bordereaux reconciliations to ensure all commission structures are in line with SLAs
Responsible for the timely resolution of all queries relating to bill run submissions
Responsible for completeness and accuracy of customer premium collections
Pay through the bank stats for Client Services and Sales
Preparing monthly revenue estimates
Ensuring our databases are in sync with our Policy Administrators
Responsible for preparing written financial analytic reports and presentations
System testing

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Matric
Relevant degree (Accounting, Economics or Finance Majors)
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in Billing and working knowledge of Debicheck
Advanced Excel
Experience with Financial Modelling
Experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage
