Job description

As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the NNR provides opportunities to unemployed graduates to receive workplace skills and experience

Minimum requirements

NQF level 6 in Safety Management/Built Environment/Facilities Management
No work experience, graduates in search of internship to gain experience

Skills Development and Training focus areas

Implementing OHS management plan
Implementing Facilities management plan
Administering claims for compensation with regard to injuries on duty and occupational diseases.
Compliance with the building legislation
Compliance with OHS Act and Regulations
Reporting accidents to the Department of Labour
Compliance with Service Level Agreements on all contractors.
Medical Surveillance Programme
Attending specification and evaluation committee meetings
Submitting quotations using e-workflow
Submitting requests for Purchase Orders and invoices for approval to Finance for payments
