Job description

As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the NNR provides opportunities to unemployed graduates to receive workplace skills and experience

Minimum requirements

  • NQF level 6 in Safety Management/Built Environment/Facilities Management
  • No work experience, graduates in search of internship to gain experience

Skills Development and Training focus areas

  • Implementing OHS management plan
  • Implementing Facilities management plan
  • Administering claims for compensation with regard to injuries on duty and occupational diseases.
  • Compliance with the building legislation
  • Compliance with OHS Act and Regulations
  • Reporting accidents to the Department of Labour
  • Compliance with Service Level Agreements on all contractors.
  • Medical Surveillance Programme
  • Attending specification and evaluation committee meetings
  • Submitting quotations using e-workflow
  • Submitting requests for Purchase Orders and invoices for approval to Finance for payments

  • Able to work under pressure
