Responsible in providing professional support services to the Operations Division sites in project financing, budgeting, and the management reporting to ensure that site and divisional management are supplied with key information to manage their area effectively and provide general and technical administration services to meet the needs associated with the functions in the Divisional Support Unit.

Minimum Requirements

• At least a 3-year qualification in Finance or Business Management
• 4 years proven finance reporting experience.
• Good understanding with process and key stakeholders related to Public Finance Management Act, Water Services Act.
• Good understanding of Management accounting and reporting and performance reporting
• Good knowledge on the policies and strategy issues related to the provision of bulk water services.
• General management knowledge, i.e., good general understanding of all aspects of the business.
• Good computer and analytical skills.

Primary Duties

• Support management with business plan process.
• Co-ordinate input and assist in overall plan for approval.
• Co-ordinate and assist with detailed budget and forecasts preparation and capturing.
• Monitor budget and investigation of variances.
• Assist in monthly management accounts.
• Prepare variance reporting statement and engagement with Finance.
• Assist with performance reports for the operations as required by the Office of the GMO
• Assist in Monitoring alignment to corporate policy and procedures.
• Coordinate, follow up and resolve any audit and compliance issues.
• Coordinate all the information required for updating of Risk registers.
• Support Operations in meeting agreed requirements.
• Provide general and technical administration services to meet the needs associated with the functions in the Divisional Support Unit.
• Provide Financial assistance to other sites in the operations divisions when need arises to meet the strategic objectives.
