Rand is looking for a Gardener

Randwater is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for maintenance, developing EMS landscapes and  facilities using various horticultural equipment, machines and tools in a labour intensive work as instructed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or N3
  • 6 months experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to operate horticultural machines such as brush cutters, lawn mowers and knap sack
  • Capable to do work
  • Basic safety knowledge and safety requirement

Primary Duties

  • General Sites Maintenance of landscape and facilities
  • Cleaning, sweeping , watering and planting 
  • Application of fertilizers, composts and mulches
  • Loading and offloading of goods, machines, plants, debris etc.
  • Use of Horticultural machinery, such as lawnmowers and  brush cutters
  • Grass Cutting within Bulk Water Distribution Reservoir Sites and servitude
  • Support with decoration when required
