Rand Water is hiring for a Customer Service Advisor (Shift)

Rand Water is looking for candidates who will be able to deliver efficient service to both internal and external customers by providing product information and responding to customer requests and queries professionally.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 and Call Centre Certificate/Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of Call Centre and customer service working experience
• Proficient in MS Office and Call Centre Technology
• CRM system knowledge and experience & Knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems
• Proficient in English and one African Language
• IT Help Desk experience will be a distinctive advantage
• Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Primary Duties

• To act as the first point of contact and provide a high-quality service to internal and external customers
• Handle contacts on multifaced channels (calls, emails, and face-to-face contacts)
• Research required information using available resources
• Provide first-call resolution and take ownership of all handled queries
• Log, track and resolve contacts according to Customer Service Centre Standard Operating Procedures
• Handle contacts within the agreed Service Level Agreements
• Provide customers with product and service information
• Maintain and build customer relationships and promote a professional image of Rand Water
• Identify and escalate priority issues and Follow up on unresolved contacts
• Maintain a high level of service with all contacts and meet performance targets
• Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with team members
