Sol Plaatje University (SPU) Graduate Internship (12 Months Fixed Term Contract) (12 positions)
This Graduate Internship programme aims to create an opportunity for unemployed graduates between the ages of 18-35, residing in the Northern Cape. This programme will offer opportunities for graduates to gain useful university-based experience in a range of areas that can improve their readiness for employment and open career pathways that may not have been available without work experience.
How to apply: please submit the following documents:
- One-page motivational/cover letter – why you should be considered for this internship.
- Updated CV, including a certified copy of your Highest Relevant Qualification.
- Certified transcript or record on an official letterhead
- Certified copy of South African identity card
- Contact details of two academic referees.
Note: no full-time students will be considered for this programme.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts – NQF level 7 obtained from Sol Plaatje University will receive preference.
- South African citizens, between the ages of 18 to 35
- Applicants must be unemployed and never participated in an internship
Eligibility (Recommendation)
- Unemployed Graduates who are not undertaking any full-time studies.
Duties & Responsibilities
This programme will offer opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain useful university-based experience in a range of administrative areas that can improve their readiness for employment and open career pathways, that may not have been available without work experience.
