Transnet Bursary for Grade 12 Learners – (SA Citizens)
As part of Transnet’s pipeline and skills development strategy, the company is offering Engineering and Specialist Commercial related bursaries which aligned to the its business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering or BSC Engineering Bursary
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Learners – (SA Citizens) who have obtained a minimum level five (60% and above) in English, Mathematics and Physical Science
or
Current tertiary students who are studying towards B.Eng or BSc engineering degree. Applicants are encouraged to apply for one of the full-time comprehensive bursaries in the following disciplines:
- Industrial Electronics Mechatronics Chemical Metallurgy Civil
- Degree and National Diploma: Specialist Commercial Bursary Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Learners – (SA Citizens) who have obtained a minimum level five (60% and above) in English, and relevant subject in line with the requirement of the preferred area of study.

Current tertiary students who are studying towards the advertised qualifications. Applicants are encouraged to apply for one of the full-time comprehensive bursaries in the following disciplines:
- Data Analytics / Actuarial / Business science Horticulture
- Property Evaluation / Real Estate
- Computer Science / Informatics / Cyber Security

NB The above bursaries are only available in the following areas: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Empangeni, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Richards Bay, Kimberly, Cape Town, Polokwane, Saldanha and Upington
