Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• Grade 12 (matriculated) or equivalent
• Be in the possession of a valid driver’s license
• Preferable: HV Regulations (modules 1-10) Relevant H&S Course for supervisors

Experience:
• 5 years’ experience in supervising the overall regulating activities of Transmission Line Construction
• Construction and Authorised (HV Regulations) Supervisory working experience

Skills and Competencies
• Basic computer literacy
• MS Office suite
• Strong leadership skills
• Good communication skills
• In depth knowledge and experience on stringing bundle conductors an OPGW stringing on transmission lines
• Experience working on all types of transmission line structures

Knowledge:
• Eskom Standard and Specifications relating to transmission line construction
• OHS Act and Construction Regulations
• SHEQ Systems
• Transmission line string and regulating methods, materials, equipment, and practices

Attributes:
• Good interpersonal relationships
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Self-motivated and must be able to motivate
