Job Advert Summary

  • To provide, promote and maintain high-quality health care services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • Nurse registered with South African Nursing Council
  • Four years industry experience in Occupational Health
  • Experience as a First Instructor
  • Experience in Audiometry and Spirometry
  • A Valid code 08 Driver’s licence.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct first aid box surveys and inspect first aid boxes monthly.
  • Treatment of injuries / wounds
  •  Act Promptly during emergency situations
  • Diagnose treat and administer medications accordingly.
  • Assist with incident investigation.
  • Health awareness in green areas

Knowledge

  • Computer literate
  • Basic Wound Care
  • Knowledge of OHS Act
  • Treatment of Injuries
  • Act Promptly during emergency situations
  • Diagnose and treat accordingly.
  •  Provide guidance on health issues.
  •  Conduct awareness

Skills

  • Ability to communicate well (both Verbal and in writing)
  • Administration skills
  • Good record keeping
  • Provide guidance on health issues.
  • Counselling
  • Provide advise and guidance on daily screening
