To assist in the provisioning of legal advisory and related services to various Seda Business Units, Board Committees and the Board which includes implementing the legal and corporate governance strategy, policies and procedures.

Key performance areas

• Assist in the provision of legal advisory services
• Provide support in litigation management services
• Assist in the policy and legal submissions review
• Conduct legal research and keep abreast of relevant legal information
• Provide support in contract management services

Required minimum qualifications

• Matric and a four (4) year qualification in Law
• Admission as an attorney/advocate will be added advantage

Knowledge

Able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge of public sector prescripts
• Knowledge of corporate governance
• Knowledge of Board management services
