Receptionist job vacancy at Johannesburg Water

  • REMUNERATION: R181 512 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM

PURPOSE

To promote and ensure efficient and effective communication between staff, public and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend to incoming calls, and re-direct the calls to the relevant personnel daily. Answer and transfer calls to relevant extension, daily. Handle a constant flow of irate customers. Report faulty lines. Make outgoing calls on behalf of staff. Welcome walk-in customers daily, establish the cause of the problem and refer them to the relevant managers. Audit complaints on SAP, daily. Sign for received deliveries and forward to the relevant staff. Monitor incoming fax. Take monthly readings for the fax and copy machine and send them to the service provider. Monitor the use / abuse of copier and fax.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 (NQF4)
• 1 year experience in an office environment. Relevant Switchboard and reception skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
