YETT YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSE 2021 FOR ZIMBABWEAN YOUTHS: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust is happy to announce the call for participants for our 2021 Annual Youth Leadership Development Course (Winter School). The Winter School aims to equip young people with critical knowledge and skills on leadership, strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, gender, and conflict transformation. It also aims to create an enabling environment for cross learning, networking, and mentorship opportunities for the participants.
We are looking for young people aged between 18 and 26 who are residing in Zimbabwe and are able to commit 7 – 14 days in July/ August to participate in this process (exact days will be communicated to shortlisted applicants). We expect to gather a diverse group of 35-40 participants who have demonstrated dedication and commitment towards improving their community and seek a wider audience to engage with for national development.
Selected participants will attend a leadership development program augmented by workshops, teambuilding, mentorship, and networking opportunities with experts from different fields.

Costs
YETT will cater for all costs associated with the Winter School such as venue, meals and transport (excluding costs incurred on Application such as stamps and envelopes for posting). Please note that YETT does not ask participants to pay a fee to participate in the Winter School. We are aware of the COVID-19 pandemic and its global and local effects. The process of recruitment will be done albeit this crisis. Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
