Sappi offers a one-year internship for a recently qualified graduates in Agriculture or Horticulture to experience farming operations, focusing on plant production.
The main responsibilities of the job:
– Assist with the planning, oversight and operational management of a farm (Avocado or Macadamia or Aquaculture).
– Assist with the safety compliance of the farming operation.
– Assist with the establishment of new orchards or expansion of existing operations.
The ideal candidate must have:
– National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture with a focus on plant production.
– Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
– No prior work experience is required.
– Good skills in planning and project management.
