Environmental Management Intern Opportunity for Young South Africans at SAPPI
Sappi is offering a one-year internship for a recent Environmental Science or Environmental Management graduate to gain real-world experience in managing environmental matters including licensing, water use and emissions.
The main responsibilities of the job:
– Undertake environmental audits and inspections at Forestry and/or Mill operations.
– Assist with the preparation of environmental and sustainability reports.
– Assist with the completion of environmental risk assessments.
The ideal candidate must have:
– Grade 12/Matric qualification
– Degree, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
– No prior experience required
– Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
