About the role
The SAMRC is seeking a Division Manager: Research Capacity Development to take responsibility for a range of the SAMRC’s capacity development programmes aimed at developing the next generation of health researchers. The Division strives to appoint candidates in line with the organization’s transformation goals and ensure transformation in capacity building. The post is for a 5-year fixed term contract and may be renewable dependent on performance and availability of funding.

About the role
The South African Medical Research Council is looking for an individual to render professional functions and duties in a vibrant environment. The Legal and Compliance office seeks to employed a qualified and experienced Legal Officer: Privacy Protection to advise and ensure the SAMRC is complaint with POPIA. The successful candidate must be willing to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and must be customer and service delivery orientated. The successful candidate should be willing to travel if required to do so.

About the role
The SAMRC Biostatistics Research Unit (BSU) has a vacancy for a self-driven and results-oriented individual to fill the above position. The candidate will enhance and support the data management activities of SAMRC research projects through providing input and innovation into the design of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and Database Management Systems (DBMS). The candidate will be an integral part of the research team and collaborate to enhance the quality, integrity and functionality of data management for research projects.
